About Amahoro Hub
Founded in 2023, Amahoro Hub is Rwanda's first inclusive health-tech platform dedicated to empowering young people with accessible, confidential, and comprehensive health services.
Our Mission
To provide every young Rwandan with accessible, inclusive, and judgment-free health information and services, leveraging technology to bridge gaps in healthcare access and education.
Our Vision
A Rwanda where every young person, regardless of their abilities or circumstances, has the knowledge and resources to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
Our Story
Amahoro Hub was born from a simple observation: too many young Rwandans lacked access to reliable health information, especially those with disabilities or in rural areas. Our founders saw an opportunity to use technology to create a more equitable healthcare landscape.
Starting with a small pilot program in Kigali, we developed Mubyeyi AI - an intelligent chatbot that provides health information in Kinyarwanda, English, and French. We also created Safe-Path Map to help users find accessible, youth-friendly health facilities.
Today, we serve over 200 young people across 4 districts, with plans to expand nationwide. Our platform is designed with accessibility at its core, featuring sign language support, voice commands, and high-contrast modes.
Our Values
Compassion
Every young person deserves care without judgment. We approach all interactions with empathy and understanding.
Inclusion
Our platform is designed for everyone - regardless of ability, background, or circumstance.
